Scenic Soundscape presents broderbeats live from the Remutaka Range | Te Ara Tirohanga
Scenic Soundscape is back. After our debut episode at Baring Head Lighthouse, Episode 02 takes us into the Remutaka Range. broderbeats is a Wellington DJ and producer who spent his teenage years in these hills. The landscape shaped his sound. On the first week of September 2026, we're filming him perform live at the Trig Walk summit for sunrise, with 360-degree views stretching across the Hutt Valley and Lake Ferry. This is not a music video. It is a short-form documentary blending a live DJ set, cinematic multi-camera visuals and intimate interviews telling the story behind the music and the place that inspired it. broderbeats has played Rhythm and Vines, the UMF Radio Stage at Ultra New Zealand, and supported Peking Duk, Odd Mob, and more. Episode 02 is his homecoming. Help us get the crew and gear to the summit. Every contribution counts.
