Faith Carolyn Ward (she/her) is a 20-year-old writer, actor, director, and now playwright from Auckland, New Zealand. A music video that she's directed for local Kiwi artist Jan Hellriegel, Sportsman of the Year, has received considerable success in film festival circuits both locally and abroad including the NZ Web Fest, SWIFF Student Film Festival, and came 3rd in the international category at Short + Sweet Film Festival in Australia.
Her works draw the most inspiration from classic British filmmakers such as Ken Russell and Tony Richardson, and modernist playwrights and authors such as Harold Pinter and D.H Lawrence.
