I am of Cook Island and Maori descent.

In remembrance and honor of my Grandparents (who have both passed away)

I came up with this Art Installation Project: My Grandmothers Tivaevae, as it was a way my grandmother would gift her love and art to others.

Therefore I would like to create a modern interpretation of My Grandmother's Tivaevae out of coloured stone and resin with Cook Island youth.

This project will be created by myself and second, third, fourth, and fifth-generation descendants of the Cook Islands.
