Queen Shirl'e, hailing from Pago Pago and spending her childhood in Faleula, Upolu Samoa, made Aotearoa her home in 1986, settling in the vibrant community of South Auckland. Overcoming language barriers, she discovered a unique talent for weaving words into captivating artistry.
A true polymath, Queen Shirl'e seamlessly blends creativity with an entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing a diverse body of work. With three EPs under her belt, and numerous Music Videos, she secured three NZ On Air music grants, supporting the production of hit singles like "Humanity" featuring Uptown Swuite & Silva MC, and "Queens Rise Up" featuring Razè.
Her latest endeavor, "STRONGER," set to release on November 24, 2023, features NZ Music icon Lavina Williams, embodying themes of resilience, strength, and empowerment. Stay tuned for the music video dropping on December 8th, exclusively on the Queen Shirl’e YouTube channel.
Beyond her musical accomplishments, Queen Shirl'e recently clinched the Sunpix Pacific People’s Community Leadership Award, a testament to her unwavering dedication to community service, especially in youth mentorship.
