I'm an actor and director from Christchurch. I've enjoyed a career mostly in theatre in New Zealand and the UK however recently I've been working more on screen.
I'm creating this Boosted campaign to raise money for an Aotearoa history film that we're creating with the kids at Gilberthorpe Primary. We'll be using a lot of greenscreen and focussing on migration from the Pacific Islands, early Māori life, arrival of Europeans and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We've received some funding from the Ministry of Education but a bit more would help us to hire a good editor and some authentic costumes so that this film can be used as an educational resource for kura and schools across Aotearoa.
