Kia Orana, kō Rangi-maria Ataera (Ataela) ahau.
I am a 43 year old, NZ born Cook Islander based in Otane, a small town situated in Central Hawke's bay. I am currently a part time artist and small business owner who runs a Catering/ event management service, Pikiz Palace.
I have a strong passion and love of sports and have represented Nz in 3 codes.
I aspire to develop and boost development of women in sport with a love and focus on rugby in Hawke's Bay and the Cook islands two places I consider to be my home.
I am also passionate about improving mental health and eliminating discrimination surrounding it.
I am proud of my Cook Island and NZ Maori cultures and aim to highlight this through storytelling using multiple creative disciplines and technology.
I am also passionate about my community and environment.
