
Keely Meechan
Keely Meechan is an emerging writer and director from Tāmaki Makaurau. She won the Creative New Zealand Emerging Talent Award at the New Zealand International Film Festival and the Audience Choice Award at Toronto’s ImagineNATIVE film festival for her Debut short film ‘Nancy From Now On.’ She has since gone on to direct produce and direct the Loading Docs short documentary ‘Fast Eddie’, directed multiple episodes of the waiata reo Maori docu-series ’Waiata Anthems’, is in pre-production for the NZ on Air funded docuseries ‘Allgoods’ and is in the pre production for her NZFC funded scripted short film ’Margie.’
