Florence Hartigan

Florence Hartigan is an actor and filmmaker, freshly (and gratefully) back in New Zealand. Florence's return to NZ follows more than a decade in Los Angeles where she is best known for starring in the feature film Phoenix Forgotten, produced by Ridley Scott (Alien) and Mark Canton (The Martian) and written by TS Nowlin (The Maze Runner).

Alongside acting in film and television in Los Angeles, Florence also wrote for and performed in shows at renowned comedy theatres The Upright Citizen’s Brigade and The Groundlings, as well as writing, producing and acting in content for the online comedy platform Funny Or Die.

Since settling back in NZ, Florence has most recently worked as a writer and director on the pilot presentation of children’s TV concept Riddles for A Grain Of Rice productions (helmed by Michelle Ang) and can be seen acting in the upcoming TV series Polynesian Panthers.
