2017 Billy T Nominee and Award-winning Stand up comedian Li'i Alaimoana is bringing his passion project 'The Invite' to short film.

Born and raised in Wellington city with Samoan heritage, the comic has long dreamed of becoming a film director, and dreams of one day filming all of his passion projects. Taking a step forward, The Invite will be his first venture into film, taking elements of his favorite comedy films, and bringing to life a story about the roughest lesson of them all: Heartbreak.

Don't let that fool you, though - like his Award winning shows, Li'i uses his platform to not only make you laugh, but also to make you think. And at the end of every show, as with his first short film, you'll come away with a new look into life's toughest lessons, all the while feeling good about what you've just experienced, but more importantly, feeling good about yourself.
