INTRODUCING
ANDREW LONDON AND APRIL PHILLIPS EXPERIENCED….COMMITTED…..PROFESSIONAL…..SUCCESSFUL ARTISTS
We've previously worked extensively together writing and performing musical tribute shows in theatres and at national jazz festivals such as “Blue Eyes” (a tribute to Frank Sinatra) at Circa Theatre in 2003 (winner of the Stellar Award for Best Musical Production); “Unforgettable” a tribute to Nat King Cole), “The Glory of Gershwin”; and “The Retro Pack” which had a sold out season at Circa Theatre in 2019.
The project involves bringing together the New Zealand-focused innovative satirical songwriting of well-known singer/songwriter Andrew London, and the creative writing and theatre performance skills of one of our country’s leading playwrights, April Phillips.
Together, we plan to write and produce a new quintessential Kiwi-themed stage musical, the title of which is based on one of Andrew’s most popular songs – Let’s Talk About Me.

Boosted How To Guides
Asking through email
Social media is a handy marketing tool, but you don’t own your social media community. The visibility of your posts is at the mercy of social media algorithms. In other words, just because you publish a status update, doesn’t mean people see it. Furthermore, if the gods of digital decide to fold a platform, that’s your hard-earned followers gone in a blink.29 Aug 2024 -

Mapping your crowd
Crowdfunding is not about you. It’s about the community around what you do. Your crowd. And there’s a difference between your audience and your crowd. Your crowd are the people personally, financially, and emotionally invested in you successfully completing your art project. They’re with you for the journey. They’re with you for your career.31 Aug 2024
