Auckland Pride
Auckland Pride is Tāmaki Makaurau's Pride Festival, connecting and celebrating Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities every February!
We produce Tāmaki Makaurau’s annual Festival of events for rainbow communities, expanded to an incredibly diverse and vibrant Pride Month for the first time in 2021, and in 2022 delivered Te Tīmatanga through a phenomenal public art and digital activation celebrating Takatāpuitanga.
Auckland Pride’s mission is to empower, celebrate, and serve Tāmaki Makaurau’s Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities through events, creativity, and advocacy.
The Auckland Pride Festival is an open-access arts, cultural, and community Festival. It’s comprised of major events delivered by Auckland Pride, such as the groundbreaking Te Tīmatanga, powerful Pride March, and the sensational Pride Party, and a diverse variety of events produced by artists, community organisers, and organisations.
