Darkroom is a bar and live music venue in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Darkroom opened in 2011, just months after the February 22 earthquake. Along with the bar and music venue, 336 St Asaph Street is also home to an artist-run community art gallery, Art Hole, which is also run by Darkroom's management.
Darkroom and Art Hole are both community hubs that play a special role in the Christchurch creative community.
