Hi, I'm Rob...
I'm a film maker, photographer and creative director based in Wellington, New Zealand. I begun freelancing since 2014, when I won the Canon EYEcon photo competition. They put a brand new camera in my hands and he haven’t looked back since. In 2018 I directed and produced my first short film for Pacific Heights’ VNZMA award nominated album “A Lost Light”. Devin Abrams (Pacific Heights) gave me creative freedom to intemperate my own vision. This really changed my course for me as I was able to employ all of my skill sets into this one role as a director, whether it’s the photography, storytelling, working with talent or music. They all offered me areas to channel a creative idea into narrative. I felt like this is where I could maximise my potential as a growing artist. On this project, I was surrounded by a hugely talented crew that really helped make it happen, some of which I will be working with again on this new documentary project.

Running events
Events can raise awareness of your campaign, raise money, reward your core crowd and create opportunities for media coverage. But they can be time-consuming to organise, so if you can piggyback on existing events where you can make an ask, or have a supporter ask for you, even better.04 Sept 2024
