Kia ora! I’m Virginia, a comedy producer and writer based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. I’ve worked in the film, television and commercial world in both New Zealand and overseas for the past 10 years. Outside of the paid work, I love a side project and continue to write, pitch and create fresh stories for New Zealand screens. I’m currently producing a short film, Margie, which has been selected by the New Zealand Film Commission as part of the Kōpere Hou - Fresh Shorts initiative. My co-collaborator, Keely Meechan is our Writer/Director and we hope this opportunity is a stepping stone into developing feature length stories to bring to Aotearoa.
