Greg O'Connell Verse Universe

Friday, 27 September 2019
7:00 pm — 8:30 pm
Exchange Christchurch
376 Wilsons Rd, Waltham, Christchurch 8011

BONER (Bono), LEROY ORBITSUN (Roy Orbison), BROODY COPER (Bradley Cooper), LADY GARGLE (Lady Gaga), LEAFMOTE (Meatloaf), EDDIE NURSERY (Freddie Mercury), DAZED DOBBER (Dave Dobbyn), BREWS SPRINGTIME (Bruce Springsteen). The eight alter-egos of Poemer (Poet Comic Performer) Greg O'Connell.

This event is pure parody. So please don't come expecting Greg's poetry. Instead, he will offer a night of irreverent imitations, musical mirth, and salacious satire.

Think burly meets burlesque. Greg O'Connell will sing O'Connellised versions of each artist's hit songs. Sometimes in matching attire. But it's a solo show. So costume changes will be minimal. Anticipation is everything. Please anticipate antics. Not poetry. Not profundity. If you decide to purchase a ticket, you'll have the chance to see Greg O'Connell as you've never seen him before. Musical and merciless. Hammy and hilarious. You've been warned.
