THE BIG FRESH COLLECTIVE 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Celebrate the fiercely independent & proudly Ōtautahi dance record label The Big Fresh Collective's 10th Anniversary! 

A community-driven organisation with all of our work over the last decade purely operating from the love of the scene - our record label turns 10 at the beginning of next year and we thought what better way to celebrate than to create a little time capsule celebrating all things Big Fresh & NZ Electronica!

The idea behind the campaign is to run a month-long celebration in February of The Big Fresh Aotearoa wide including;

• 30-minute long documentary telling our decade-long story & the story of the NZ electronic scene over the past 10 years featuring interviews with a wide and diverse range of friends & whānau involved with our journey.
• Nationwide Tour in all the big city centres.
• Best of The Big Fresh compilation released on WAX AKA Our first-ever proper vinyl release pressed & made in our own backyard.
• Lastly a hardcover book including a history of our 50= releases, profiles of our artists & photos taken/artwork created for The Big Fresh over the past decade.

The campaign will involve over 100= NZ creatives that have been associated with The Big Fresh over the alongside providing an insight to not only the label but the Electronic scene over the past decade here in Aotearoa!

A huge factor of this campaign is that it will be completely accessible to our local community and serve as a potential educational tool to our rangatahi (youth) who are curious about the NZ electronic scene and The Big Fresh Collective - We are not looking to profit from any of this work - rather we would like to make it as accessible for the public as possible - everything will be as affordable as it can as far as the gig tickets, the vinyl & the hardcopy book and beyond that all these resources and materials will be available for free online (digital copy of the best of album, the book & the documentary).

We would split the funds roughly four ways with $2.5K going toward each part of the 10th-anniversary project!
