All in for Arts He waka toi e eke noa nei tātou – Waiwhakaata Arrowtown

This spring, The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi is hitting the road with Creative New Zealand Toi Aotearoa, Chartwell Trust, The Lion Foundation, Coffee Supreme and Noble & Savage, visiting 10 centres on the Great New Zealand Arts Journey.

The arts and creativity are offering hope during these times, and right now are making an impact in our homes, schools, towns and cities. That’s why we’re heading to all four corners of Aotearoa listening, gathering and sharing stories of how creativity is making a difference to communities across the country.

We invite you to attend a free breakfast and to hear stories about the impact the arts are having on everyday life in Waiwhakaata Arrowtown and illuminate the value of the arts to Aotearoa New Zealand.

Speaker line-up includes:

  • Emma Lange, Former radio broadcaster, comedian, wirter and performer
  • Sir Eion Edgar, Visionary businessman, philanthropist, and avid supporter of the arts
  • Louisa ‘Choppy’ Patterson, Chief pilot and CEO of Over The Top
  • Tracey Roxburgh, Editor of Mountain Scene
  • Jim Boult, Mayor of Queenstown
  • Bethany Rogers, Copywriter and the force behind the Queenstown Writers’ Festival
  • Yuki Kihara, 2020 Arts Foundation Laureate, Interdisciplinary artist representing Aotearoa New Zealand at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022
