All in for Arts He waka toi e eke noa nei tātou – Taranaki

This spring, The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi is hitting the road with Creative New Zealand Toi Aotearoa, Chartwell Trust, The Lion Foundation, Coffee Supreme and Noble & Savage, visiting 10 centres on the Great New Zealand Arts Journey.

The arts and creativity are offering hope during these times, and right now are making an impact in our homes, schools, towns and cities. That’s why we’re heading to all four corners of Aotearoa listening, gathering and sharing stories of how creativity is making a difference to communities across the country.

We invite you to attend a free breakfast and to hear stories about the impact the arts are having on everyday life in Taranaki and illuminate the value of the arts to Aotearoa New Zealand.

Speaker line-up includes:

  • Daniel Belton, 2015 Arts Foundation Laureate, Choreographer, dancer, film maker
  • Rangi Kipa, Toi Māori Artist
  • Terry Parks, owner of Nice Hotel
  • Bonita Bigham, Chair Te Maruata Roopu Whakahere and an artist
  • Matt Rikoff, Taranaki Daily News Editor
  • Josh Clarke, Actor, Dancer, musical theatre enthusiast
  • Stacey Hitchcock, New Plymouth District Councillor

Calling all arts lovers and unlikely arts lovers. Come along and listen to stories from well-known members of your community, share your story and a cuppa. Secure your spot today. Places are limited to 100 (at the moment).
