Miriama Kamo is a Broadcast Journalist (Sunday and Marae, TVNZ1), author, and mother. She’s an ambassador for Pillars (supporting children of prison inmates) and Endometriosis NZ. Miriama is a founding trustee of Kotahi Rau Pukapuka which is translating 100 books into te reo. On joining the Arts Foundation, Te Tumu Toi, Miriama says, ‘I am delighted to join The Arts Foundation, Te Tumu Toi. Aotearoa’s arts community is a potent force; their mahi inspires, provokes, and connects us in the experience of being human. I’m looking forward to helping celebrate and empower all of our vital arts practitioners
