Emilia Wickstead - Fashion designer

EMILIA WICKSTEAD's 2010 collection revitalises the art and perfection of feminine dressing and reflects upon the flirtatious and overtly glamorous 1970 summers.

With a sense of romanticism, this collection has a relaxed and youthful attitude whilst remaining understatedly chic. Graceful necklines and backless dresses allow for well-designed bareness and sophisticated sexiness.

Pastel and jewel infused fabrics drape confidently and delicately over the female form. Refreshing soft tone hues of rose, beige and powder blue are lightly dusted over soft silks - in stark contrast to rich and indulgent warm rusts, exotic oranges, bright reds and hot pinks.

Decorative check, floral and leopard prints vibrantly paint themselves across a variety of silk blouses, luxurious dresses and fleeting skirts. Dreamy, ethereal crepe de chine lightly accentuates voluminous pieces, sculpted dresses and trapeze style tops whilst vibrant and smoothly textured linens subtly enhance daywear to provide a unique edge. Fabrics boast exquisite gathering and luxurious pleating.

Emilia's 2010 collection is the perfect combination of modern alongside the delicacy of wearable designer couture.
