News from the Arts Foundation and its award recipients from 3 July 2012

Boosted Manager: welcome Renee Tanner

The Arts Foundation extends a warm welcome to Renee Tanner who will be taking up the role of Boosted Manager on 16 July.  Bryna O'Brien will be helping her as Administrator.  Interviewing is taking place for Bryna's replacement.

Sir Miles Warren (Icon Award) has received the 2012 Christ's College Leadership Medal.

Each year the award goes to an old boy who showed distinction in his professional, academic or commercial life. For many years Sir Miles Warren was Christ's College's architect and designed many of the buildings at the school and he had played an integral role in the strengthening of Christ's College's buildings. 

Bill Manhire  (Laureate Award) - Poet-in-Residence at the Ledbury Poetry Festival

Bill Manhire is participating in Poetry Parnassus (representing New Zealand) which has brought together one poet from each Olympic competing nation in what is the biggest-ever UK poetry festival.  Bill is also to be the Poet-in-Residence at the Ledbury Poetry Festival where he is will be involved in workshops, readings and other events
