Forsyth Barr has been a partner of the Arts Foundation for over eight years. Their contribution has been extraordinary.

With Forsyth Barr's support numerous artists have received awards and thousands of people have been inspired by the ideas of artists.

To honour Forsyth Barr's contribution to the arts, the Arts Foundation has appointed them as an "Honorary Lifetime Partner". This non-voting permanent patronage position was established to honour sponsors who have been partners with the Foundation at the highest level for five years or more. Recipients of this position must have partnered with the Foundation in a manner that has allowed it to achieve its goals and, most importantly, the partnership must have resulted in significant benefits for the arts.

Forsyth Barr is the first recipient of this position.
