This monumental masterpiece, an indisputable audience favourite, has always held pride of place in any choir's repertoire of supreme choral works. It is described as being the greatest artwork of all time and all people. 

Orpheus Choir's performance gives concert-goers an added opportunity to farewell Madeleine Pierard in her final appearance in Wellington before she takes up the most-coveted position of Young Artist in the Royal Opera, Covent Garden. Madeleine was one of five young singers recently selected from 450 auditioned applicants in London. She is very well-known to Wellington audiences since her time studying voice at Victoria University (photo Robert Catto).

The Orpheus Choir presents this monumental masterpiece with the Vector Wellington Orchestra and internationally acclaimed soloists.
