Marti Friedlander (Marti Friedlander Photographic Award) is gifting her series of photographs taken for the Moko project to Te Papa. Her renowned photographs of Kuia were part of a collaborative project with the late historian Michael King, for the publication, Moko - Maori Tattooing in the 20th Century.
