Transplant considered ideas of urban redevelopment through the collection and redistribution of abandoned plant life from some of Sham Shui Po's early low-rise apartment buildings scheduled for demolition. Former residents had left the plants behind when they were relocated to modern tower block apartments with no outdoor space for private gardens. Cuttings and pot plants were taken, transported and replanted at a new site. Cuttings from one of the most prevalent rooftop plants, a succulent commonly known as ‘Mother of Thousands' were also redistributed through a plant stall on the street.
