Kate Parker - New Generation Award

Kate Parker was selected as one of six Arts Foundation New Generation artists in 2010.  This video was produced in a partnership between the Arts Foundation and TVNZ 7.

Originally shown at the New Generation Award ceremony, this video has since been included in a series, shown on TVNZ 7, called The Artists.  This series has footage and interviews with the eleven artists celebrated by the Arts Foundation with New Generation and Laureate Awards in 2010.   The Artists went to air on TVNZ 7 in March 2011.

Kate is a Co-Director of Red Leap Theatre, a physical devising theatre company who use imagery and create original work.  She is an actor, puppeteer, teacher and image creator.
